BOUYON MUSIC
Back in 2006, Don Carli Produced music Indigenous to his home island Dominica. Bouyon music was founded by local band W.C.K and was popular locally and regionally. Don Carli along with producer and friend Yohann "Puskey"Ferrol founded Esclav Band which produced 4 albums the latter of which earned a Golden Drum Award by the country's Ministry of Culture. Don Carli since then has produced Bouyon rhythms For acts such as Nayee, Delly from W.C.K. Asa Banton and more

REGGAE/DANCEHALL
Over the years Don Carli has worked with Reggae/Dancehall artists on the local scene in his native country of Dominica. Such works have featured on mixtapes and albums of artists such as Koko Breakfast, Silk Asara, Ras Judah just to name a few.

HIP-HOP

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
The Full Story
Carllian "Don Carli" James A Dominican born music producer, singer song-writer was influenced at a tender age to pursue a musical career, being raised by one of Dominica's former calypsonians Avis " Lady A " Bruno it was an easy fit for him into the musical world. The founder of the Jaw Breakers and also a founding member of the Esclav Band, Don Carli formerly known as "Falcon The Don" would jump at any opportunity available to demonstrate his capacity in many different aspects of the musical arts in any arena and has worked with quite a few of Dominica's musicians.
In his younger years Don's interest in music led him to Blackkingz Studio located in his village of St. Joseph. The studio was owned by Joseph "Foxx" Royer (one of the island's top producers at the time) who would let Don sit in on his sessions and often lecture him on sound engineering and broadening his knowledge base on everything music. This is where Don would start recording his raps and making beats in the studio while "Foxx" was away.
Don Carli Produced a variety of Bouyon hits and albums with The Esclav Band of which the last album entitled "Revolution" Received a Golden Drum Award by the country's Ministry of Culture.
After a hiatus from the local scene Don has now Resurfaced with his first mix tape from his own FullyGrownMuzik studio located in Guadeloupe.
The Way I See It features 24 tracks all produced by the Don himself and is only the beginning of Don Carli's mission to display Dominican talent at its finest.
